How would the amount of water or rain fall affect a farmer's crops? What if there wasn't enough water? How could this limiting factor affect plant populations?

Farmers in California have been facing a drought for the past three years now. When there is not enough water farmers must come up with innovative solutions to keeping their plants alive.

However, some plants have come up with their own tricks in order to adapt to a dry climate. Check out some of them here! 

Science Program Coordinator, Hannah Giddens, spent a day last week with scientists and educators, training for South Carolina Sea Grant's Seeds to Shoreline!  It was a fun (and cold!) day for all!
