Veterans Day was made a legal holiday in 1938, originally to honor the veteran's of WWI. In 1954 it became a day to honor all veterans. If you see a veteran or know someone who has served our country, please stop and say "thank you". Learn more at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
